Frequently Asked Questions

We offer highest quality microblading, tattoo correction, and micro-sombra available in Miami and South Florida.

What is eyebrow microblading?

Microblading, also known as eyebrow embroidery or 3D brows, is a relatively new method for enhancing eyebrows by using a very fine blade to deposit pigment into the epidermis to emulate natural hair. It is considered to be semi-permanent.

How long does the color last?

Color duration primarily depends on the natural oilyness of the skin. The oilier the skin, the shorter the colour lasts. Sweating and sun exposure can also reduce colour contrast. On average you should expect a colour refreshment every 10 to12 months depending on skin and environment; if you have exceptionally oily skin it can be as soon as 6 months.

Are the pigments and the process safe?

Treatment is performed with disposable sterile tools (PhiBrush), and pigments are produced in accordance with the highest standards (PhiBrows microblading pigments).

What is Micro-Sombra?

When a client has very few natural hairs, a combination of Microblading and shading is used to improve the volume. This combination its called Micro-Sombra..

How bad is the pain during treatment?

Pain during the treatment is relative. Clients with anxiety or fear about the procedure as well as female clients who are menstruating usually feel more pain. Other clients compare the pain to plucking eyebrows. We are able to use mild anesthetics in form of cream or liquid that can almost entirely eliminate the pain during the treatment if you prefer.

What precautions do I need to take prior to treatment?

The skin must not be in the inflammatory process or the process of healing and regeneration before each treatment.

The following treatments should be avoided for 30 days prior to the treatment

  • Botox and fillers
  • Fruit or milk acids
  • Laser treatments
  • Chemical peelings
  • Fruit acids
  • Chemical peelings
  • Exposure to strong sunlight

What are the post treatment care instructions?

Post-treatment flow makes 70% of the treatment’s success. Conscientiously obey advice, because if you don’t do so you may lose up to 80% of drawn strokes. Rinsing and applying creams is of great importance.

30 minutes after the treatment rinse the eyebrows with neutral soap (children’s). Remove all the lymph and previously applied cream by doing so. After that apply a very thin layer of PhiShield. Repeat this procedure 3 to 5 times during the day. If the treatment was done late in the afternoon and you do not have time to do it 3 to 5 times, put a plastic wrap over the eyebrows you previously applied the cream on so that you protect the eyebrows from drying and wiping overnight.

Over the next 7 days, maintain facial hygiene and apply the cream after washing your face or having a shower and avoid the following

  • All the creams (except for the protective one)
  • All make-up (foundation) in the eyebrow area
  • Workouts that involve a lot of sweating
  • Sauna
  • Facial massage
  • Steaming / steam inhalation

Over the next 30 days avoid the following

  • Sunbathing
  • Solarium
  • Light therapies
  • Chemical peelings
  • Fruit acids
  • Microdermabrasion
  • Creams that contain regeneration factors

Ongoing care is also important. Never have laser treatments over the treated area (fraxel laser, IPL) as they can destroy the pigment and cause burns. Use of some antibiotics and hormonal therapy may possibly lead to a faster pigment fading. Always protect your eyebrows from the sun with SPFs (although not during the first 7 days).

The healing is fully completed after 28 days, and an obligatory follow-up session is scheduled so that pigment can be added to replace the saturation that was lost. With problematic and oily skins, several additional corrective sessions may be necessary.
